Having a good rapport

 I always want to have a good rapport with my kiddos! Ask your parents or guardians to help you access the internet to see the meaning for this word.  If you watched the Ted talk from a couple weeks back you would have heard the woman speaking about how "A child doesn't learn from someone they don't like". Having a good relationship with each of my kiddos is very important to me because I want to watch them succeed in life.  This year I am going to make it my mission to do 3 things with each individual student to build a good relationship.  1. I will greet every child in our own way with a secret handshake or a dance party or a high-five. I will let the student choose what they would like to do. 2. I will make school a learning time but also have small breaks for when we are getting tired or overwhelmed.  3. I will send each child home with good attitudes and small blessings as I want them to be excited for school each and every day. 

Just Popping In

 George Washington Carver said "All learning is understanding relationship"      This is a powerful statement, this statement is simple but the core values are anything but simple. If you watched my Ted talk from last week then you will hear Ms. Rita say this exact statement. She goes onto say that you have to have a relationship with your kiddos. Ms. Rita inspired me to want to be a better teacher for all of my students until my last day when I retire. Everyone needs a relationship they can count on whether it is a parent, a fellow classmate, or a teacher. I want all of my children to know that I will have their back until the end of time. I want each and every one of you to succeed in life and accomplish your dreams.       I tend to fall in love with what I know a person can be. TED TALKS:     This video that is attached below is AMAZING!!!!! This Ted talk is full of wonderful advice for my students and my parents! The way Ms. Rita loves teaching is exactly how I feel about teaching all of you beautiful minded kiddos!! I would like my parents to watch this Ted talk and please give me some feedback!
