Having a good rapport

I always want to have a good rapport with my kiddos! Ask your parents or guardians to help you access the internet to see the meaning for this word.  If you watched the Ted talk from a couple weeks back you would have heard the woman speaking about how "A child doesn't learn from someone they don't like". Having a good relationship with each of my kiddos is very important to me because I want to watch them succeed in life.

This year I am going to make it my mission to do 3 things with each individual student to build a good relationship.

1. I will greet every child in our own way with a secret handshake or a dance party or a high-five. I will let the student choose what they would like to do.

2. I will make school a learning time but also have small breaks for when we are getting tired or overwhelmed.

3. I will send each child home with good attitudes and small blessings as I want them to be excited for school each and every day.
